When you’re going through life’s valleys,
And you think there’s no way out,
You’re not the first to feel this way.
There’s hope, without a doubt.
It was easier many years ago,
Thought life would stay that way,
But now you feel like crap,
And it seems it’s here to stay.
Your friends have tried to help,
But you tell them it’s no use,
You think one has it in for you,
It seems you can’t get loose.
Set the problem aside today,
Have fun and take a break.
You have no idea until you try it.
What a difference it can make.
So your trouble didn’t vanish,
What time you were away,
But it sometimes makes it easier
And can help you through the day.
If you feel like giving up,
How will you ever know,
If you had diverted your attention,
Learned what God wants you to know?
He wants you to be blessed, He does.
He loves you till it hurts.
He’s cared about you many years,
Since you were a little squirt.
If the devil tries to scare you,
You know he’s telling tales.
Jesus defeated him completely,
The day he got those nails.
Whatever you are going through,
Keep a song playing in your heart,
And give thanks to God above
You don’t push a shopping cart.
Use a little humor today.
It makes things seem much lighter,
And I’m hoping that you real soon,
Will feel a whole lot brighter.

Opportunities are everywhere, you only attract what you’re ready for.
Ideas are everywhere, you only absorb what you’re ready for.
What are you ready for …? This is the question you need to ask yourself.

Many are complaining, lamenting and grumbling in life today, why? Because they refuse to prepare for life. When you refuse to get ready to meet the opportunity in life, then you’re ready to get stuck.

What of the man called David in the bible. I love reading and digesting his life story, is a man fully ready for opportunities.

• There was a search in the palace for an instrumentalist to play for a King, David was recommend for the opportunity, why? He was ready for it.
• In the forest, he trained himself to face wild animal in other to protect the sheep. When a lion showed up, he was able to kill it, why? he was ready. Afterward, a bear showed up and he killed it too, opportunity to face the giant was attracted to him, why? he was ready.

See, there is no excuse for you. The reason why you remain where you are is because you are not ready. Preparation propel performance and performance propels great result. Life is a field of unlimited possibilities, you only attract the one you are ready for.

Even if you are given the opportunity you aren’t ready for, you will definitely mismanage it. Remember the prodigal son that collected his inheritance from his father that he wasn’t ready for, he squandered it all. It is up to you now to sit down, think about your life and set out your plan. This is your life, so start developing yourself for the opportunity you desire to attract.

“To Live for the benefit of others is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist for themselves and that is all”.

Yesterday night i stumbled to a statement made by The Liverpool FC’s prolific attacker, Sadio Mané speaks:

“Why would I want ten Ferraris, twenty diamond watches, or two planes? What will these objects do for me and for the world? I was hungry, and I had to work in the field; I survived hard times, played football barefooted, I did not have an education and many other things, but today with what I win thanks to football, I can help my people. I built schools, a stadium, we provide clothes, shoes, food for people who are in extreme poverty. In addition, I give 70 euros per month to all people in a very poor region of Senegal which contributes to their family economy. I do not need to display luxury cars, luxury homes, trips and even planes. I prefer that my people receive a little of what life has given me”.

I was extremely touched with this statement and i know why this player is moving forward. When you make yourself a Channel of blessing to others your source of blessing can’t dry up. There are people who living for themselves alone, there is more to life than simply living for yourself alone. It is not your luxury that matter to life, it is the life of people that benefit that counts.

Remember the purpose of life is not just to exist and that is all. It is to useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to make a great difference to the life around you.

Time flies and memories fade. People change and new friendships are made. Only the true remain forever at our side. Eventually the disappointment and pain will subside.

It is all about the journey and what has yet to come. Life is what you make of it; you are what you’ve become. Life is too short to hold onto regrets. Forgiveness is key even though you may never forget.
Cherish the good and remove the bad. Some people don’t realize till it’s gone what they’ve had. Moving on is a way of life. There will always be obstacles, pain, and strife.
You must believe that you are strong enough to fight. You have to believe in yourself to do what is right. Always do for YOU no matter what you do, because in the end the only one who has your back is you.
Never be afraid to take a stand, and always be willing to lend a helping hand. A little bit goes a long way. All it takes is a smile to brighten someone’s day.

Having a great today requires that you take an honest look at where you blame other people or circumstances for the way your life has turned out yesterday.
Do you hold a grudge against people for the mistakes in your life? Are you still bitter about a relationship or connection that didn’t work out? If you find that you’re harboring resentment in heart, it means you are allowing yesterday mistakes to rob you of the attention you need to give to today.

See every single day is an opportunity to improve your life. Think about what you need to do in other to have access to a much better result today..
As you become more adept at finding the opportunities in every new day, you will begin to look on past mistakes in a new light, and you will begin to rewrite your life better.

Time is a precious resource and once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t know what to do,’ is like saying, ‘I don’t want to use my time.

When you buy non refundable tickets to a concert which cost you an arm and a leg, you don’t normally just throw them away, you make sure you are in that concert, right? Then why throw away the most expensive ticket (time) to the best show in the world you never paid for, the show called ‘Life’?
Now imagine what it would cost you if you could actually buy more time. You would be a fool to if you wasted something that valuable. Yet, time is still wasted and it can never be regained.
Every second of every minute of every hour you allow to slip through your fingers, is a waste. Every opportunity you don’t take, every word you don’t speak and every work you don’t do, is a waste of the valuable time. Change your path, your choices and your future, make a plan and find a way to do what you love and be where you are meant to be.
Time is the currency of life,
Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination: never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
Determine every single day to use your time with right intention. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much can be done if we are always doing something worthwhile.
A man who dares to waste one hour of life has not discovered the value of life.
