You create your opportunities by showing kindness
Face down on the sidewalk is where I found myself last night after I tripped while walking our dog. As I laid there getting my bearings, retrieving my glasses (thankfully not broken) and assessing that our dear greyhound was still connected to my wrist, a man got out of a car and asked if I was OK. Who wouldn’t feel better with such a show of kindness by a stranger? Once back in the car, he and his travel companion even lingered before they drove off to make sure I really was all right.
Three week after, i met the stranger in a company own by my dad. He approached me asking which way lead to the Director office with gladness in heart i took him to director office and they approved the project, he had been lobbying for in past three month. After the deal has been sealed, the stranger come to me and asked why do you help me because i have been on this for awhile now and just settle in few moment that you step in. Please i dont know from anywhere why did help me. I smiled, and said do you remember a guy that tripped while walking with a dog three weeks ago. He said, yes i remember vividly and are you the guy, yes am… oh my GOD! we laughed and become friends from that day on.
