SET GOAL,MAKE PLAN…. REACH GOAL.

We all have goals in life. Each one of us wants to achieve something, whether great or small, at some point in our lives. We have deep-seated hopes and dreams for the future and a burning desire to accomplish some great feats.
In fact, it’s part of what’s made us into who we are. Our species has more than just survived; we’ve quite literally thrived, achieving outlandish results.
It’s not easy achieving your goals in life. That much is certain. But couple that with our insatiable thirst for instant gratification and our proclivity to run on the seemingly endless–where we’re always reaching for something better than we have today — it’s no wonder that we get frustrated while trying to achieve great things. When failure rears its ugly head and we suffer the ridicule setback, it’s no wonder why we find it so hard to achieve our goals in life.
Yet, there is a simpler way. The greatest problem that most people face is that they fail to set their goals the right way. And once they do set their goals, their approach is all wrong. The best way to achieve any goal in life is to not only set them the right way, but also to plan and execute your actions in accordance with achieving those dreams over time.

Let see some of the right way—

Achieving any goal requires acute self-discipline. It involves a conscious awareness of our actions and the ability to overcome some of the bad habits that might be holding us back. Instilling self-discipline into our lives is no easy task. It requires an unwavering attention to our actions and an unrelenting drive for wanting to achieve something big.
However, moving beyond that, there’s a proven pattern for achieving any goal. It is right principles that can make you principal in life. It is principle that allows you to breakdown the process into distinct steps, doing a little bit each day towards the attainment of your dreams.
1. Get A DEFINITE GOAL.
The first step in achieving your goal is to set a highly definite about what you intend to achieve. You have to ensure that it’s measurable so that it can be tracked, but you also have to put a great deal of detail into what it is you intend to achieve. You can’t just say you want to own a business without proper understanding, It doesn’t work that way.
If you have business goal, the need to involve a definite of what it take to own a business. For example, you intend a business to meet people daily need in an environment or region. You need to do a survey of what is the major needs of environment before developing a business that will meet the need. Then you need to be acutely definite about it.
When you get definite about a goal, it materializes. It moves from the abstract into reality. To do that, it must be written down. It must move from your mind to a piece of paper or a screen. What do you want to achieve? What does your life look like at that point when you reach that goal? Who are your friends? What are you doing during the day? What habits do you have? What time are you waking up?
You quite literally have to describe the goal and your life in a great deal of detail. The more definite you get, the better.
2. Ensure that your goals are Significant.
Goals can’t just be definite. The second step for achieving your goals is to ensure that they’re significant. We will always do more to achieve a goal that has a deep-rooted meaning to us than we will to achieve something that’s superficial. You can’t just want things for the sake of wanting them. You can’t just want to lose weight or make more money because those are goals you’ve always wanted. Why have you always wanted them?
We will always do more to achieve things that are deeply significant to us. When those meanings involve things like family, freedom, security, country and love, we’ll go out of our way to see things through. We won’t throw in that proverbial towel and give up after we hit a few stumbling blocks or fail repeatedly.
Take a moment to write down the meaning that you’re associating with your goals. Dig deep. It has to be a profound meaning. It has to be something that you’re willing to sacrifice everything for. Write this down on a piece of paper. This is one of the most important steps in the process.

3. Pick goals that are Achievable

Start with short-term goals. Long term goals is good as well but when things take longer time you may discourage. But, when it comes to your one, two and even three-year goals, ensure that they’re achievable. Don’t say that you’re going to make a rich in 12 months if you’re currently have no source of income.
When you pick goals that are achievable, not only are you more likely to achieve them, but you can also develop some momentum in the process. It’s exciting to accomplish a goal that is currently out of reach, no matter what that goal is. Once you get there, you’re fueled by the zeal and enthusiasm of reaching your goal.
Find goals that are big, but not impossible to achieve, at least for your shorter-term goals. Plan your 12-month goals so that they act as milestones or markers towards the longer-term, much bigger goals. Then, be sure to create a massive action plan that will help you see things through.
4. The goals must be Relevant.
How relevant are the goals that you’ve selected for your life and your future? Are they aligned with who you are? Do they resonate with your core values and beliefs? Or, do they go contrary to everything that you believe in? When we pick goals that go against the grain of who we are, we find it much more difficult to follow through.
So how do you pick relevant goals for your life? One way is to take a moment to jot down everything that you value and believe in. For example, if you value honesty, yet you think that all rich people are crooked and somehow got that way through some stealthy or underhanded methods, you might find it difficult to achieve big-money goals.
What we believe in are also the product of things we’ve heard while growing up. Things like “money doesn’t grow on trees,” or “more money, more problems,” and “all men cheat and lie,” and so on, become ingrained in our minds, influencing our every thought, emotion and resultant behavior.
Take the time to jot down the things that make you into who you are. Then, pick relevant goals that are in harmony with what you believe in and value. You’ll find your goal-setting journey to be much more harmonious and fluid when you pick relevant goals to your life and who you are deep down inside.
5. Make sure the goals are Time-bound.
Goals must be time-bound in order to be achievable. When do you plan on achieving this goal? Don’t just say you want to get rich in the future or make a million dollars in the next few years. You have to pick a date on the calendar if you’re serious about achieving that goal.
Select an actual date on the calendar for your specific goal own to the very day of the week. When your goal is specific and measurable, it’s trackable. When you give it a real date on the calendar, you can break it down into monthly and weekly goals. This way, you can chart your progress to determine how far or close you are to achieving that goal. Pick the date on the calendar, and write it down as part of your goal. Circle the date and setup reminders with your phone on a weekly or monthly basis. Then, do whatever it takes to achieve it.
6. You have to Evaluate your progress along the way.
When goals are time-bound, they can be evaluated, allowing you to track your progress along the way. The more meticulous you track your goals, the more likely you’ll be to follow through. Pick a system for tracking your goals, and do it every single day. This will give you a barometer towards success.
For example, when a plane takes off from airport, traveling to anothet country, it evaluates its progress along the way. It knows, at any given moment of its journey, just how far it’s come, where it is and what’s left to go. It knows the direction to travel in, the wind speed, the plane’s speed, potential disruptions with air-traffic congestion or storms, and much more.

When you evaluate, you get a better lay of the land. When you fail to chart your progress, it’s easier to ignore things and you’re more likely to revert back to detrimental patterns and bad habits. Chart your progress every single day if you want to achieve your goals in the long term.
7. Always Re-adjust your approach to reach your goals.
If you evaluate your progress, and you realize that you’re getting further away from your goals rather than closer to them, you can re-adjust your approach. This gives you a moment to correct things. You might not notice this if you fail to evaluate your progress on a daily basis.
When a plane sees that there’s a storm or air-traffic congestion, it can adjust its approach to reach its intended target on time. If there’s major turbulence ahead and it needs to veer slightly off course, it knows what to do in order to correct that so it can make up for the time lost and to ultimately reach its destination.

Our goals are very much like an airplane’s journey. We’re trying to reach our final destination, and in order to do that, we need to be clear about what that destination is and when we’ll reach it. Then, all we need to do is plan, take action and to modify our approach along the way in order to get to where we’re going in the long term. Simple sounding, but clearly far harder to implement.

set goal…… make plan…… get to work….stick to it…. and reach goal.

TIDBIT OF THE DAY! #Mar7

20180306_171159

Hello world, welcome to another mid week. All glory be to our God for the gift of life, let us be grateful to God and make count for best.

Here is tidbit of the day Life is ten percent (10%)what you make it and ninety percent (90%)how you take it!

Yesterday I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the work.
We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! Thank GOD we are safe.
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us!
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, really friendly.
So I asked, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!”
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, “The law of GARBAGE TRUCK.”
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage such as frustration, anger, and disappointment, etc.). As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you.
Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day and life. Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so… love the people who treat you right & pray for the ones who don’t.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Your reaction to life determine the level success you will achieve.
Have a joyful day.

GROW YOUR LIFE BETTER

20180306_115215

No matter how beautiful and cute a baby is, no one wants him or her to remain so. All desire their little baby to stand then walk, grow tall and develop muscles. That is how our success is structure in life, you need to GROW. The grow means so many thing but here the grow is what make your life better.

The GROW stands for:
Goal
Reality in present
Options
Way Forward.

A good way of thinking about the GROW is to think about how you’d plan a journey of life and how to achieve it. First, you decide where you are going (the goal), and establish where you are presently(reality in present). Then explore various routes (the options) to your destination. In the final step, establishing the way forward, you ensure that you’re committed to making the journey, and are prepared for the obstacles that you could meet on the way.

How to Use the GROW
To structure your life better, take the following steps:
1. Establish the Goal
First, you need to look at the behavior that you want to change, and then structure this change as a goal to achieve.
Make sure that this is a definite goal: one that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound.
When doing this, it’s useful to ask questions like:
How will i go about it in other to achieve this goal? And does it fit with the objectives of my life?
2. Examine the Current Reality
Next, ask yourself to describe his current reality.
This is an important step. Too often, people try to solve a problem or reach a goal without fully considering their starting point, and often they’re missing some information that they need in order to reach their goal effectively.

What is happening now (what, who, when, and how often)? What is the effect or result of this?
Have you already taken any steps towards your goal?
Does this goal conflict with any other goals or objectives?
3. Explore the Options
Once you have explored the current reality, it’s time to determine what is possible – meaning all of the possible options for reaching your goal.

In agriculture world for a plant to grow you need a seed bury in right land and monitoring, watering to nurture its grow well. Your SEED is your GOAL, RIGHT LAND is the right principles or knowledge, BURY all the habits that can hinder your effort of not achieving your goal, monitoring means a mentor to guide you and water is the motivation, you need costant motivation to grow in life.

Remember when you grow, you shine.
